1.Description

Light oil , also called naphtha and white oil, is a kind of  petrolem product. 

It consists of a mixture of different hydrocarbons. It is the main component containing 5-11 carbon atoms, alkanes, cycloalkanes or aromatics. Extracted gas can be used as the use 

of naphtha.

2. Property

 

 Light oil at room temperature, atmospheric pressure is a colorless or yellowish transparent liquid 

with special odor, insoluble in water. Density 650~750kg/m3. Not more than 0.08% sulfur content, 

paraffin content of not more than 60% aromatic content not exceeding 12%, olefin content of not 

more than 1.0

 

3. The situation of the product process 

(1)BasicsLight oil is a light oil, from the Persian word, means the volatile petroleum products.Light oil or petroleum from the secondary processing of crude oil distillation cut the corresponding fractions derived.According to the needs of the boiling range, usually a wide distillation range, such as 30-220 °C.Naphtha cracking furnace is to take control of ethylene, propylene, catalytic REFORMING benzene, toluene, xylene important raw materials.As cracking feedstock, requiring light oil in the composition of alkanes and cycloalkanes content is not less than 70% (volume); as catalytic reforming feedstock for the production of high octane gasoline components, the width of the feed to distillate boiling point range of generalis 80-180 °C, for the production of aromatic hydrocarbons, the feed for the narrow fractions, the boiling point range of 60-165 °C.Foreign light straight-run naphtha used boiling range as 0-100 °C, heavy straight-run naphtha boiling range is 100-200 °C; FCC naphtha have <105 °C ,105-160 °C and 160 -200 °C for light, medium and heavy three.

4.Application     

Mainly used as fertilizer, catalytic reforming of ethylene production and raw materials, solvents can 

also be used to produce oil or petroleum products as a blending component.
